JONESBORO, ARK.- Sprinters Willie Green, Gary Nemeth, Frank Diadiou and Ivan Williams shined as all four finished in the top seven in the 55m dash at the Arkansas State University indoor invitational.

Green, a freshmen from Augusta, Georgia, topped the quartet of sprinters by finishing second in the event with a time of 6.33. Another newcomer Adam Didyk also contributed for the Tigers placing second in the 3000m run.

Eleven Tigers in all competed in the meet and five placed in the top six in their respective events.

Memphis watched two of its own records fall as competitors broke them at the ASU Meet. Current Tiger Coach and former standout athlete, Kevin Robinson regrettably watched his weight throw record fall that he set in 1996. Ole Miss thrower Stacy Andrews set a new meet record with a throw of 63'06.00 (19.35) topping Robinson's 57'09.50.
