Men's Results Get Acrobat Reader

The University of Memphis cross country teams finished the 2009 schedule Saturday at the Conference-USA Championships in Houston, Texas.

Junior distance runner Edwin Kipkorir led Memphis with a time of 26:38.60 and finished 31st. Junior Jacob Chapman finished 39th with a time of 26:57.30. Senior Jorgen Ekdahl posted a time of 27:27.20, finishing 46th. The men's team finished seventh overall. UTEP won the Conference USA Championship.

The women's cross country team was led by freshman distance runner Kayleigh Brown who finished 50th with 20:15.90. Sophomore Jasmine Darden posted a time of 20:40.10 and finished in 58th place. The women's team finished 11th overall with the conference title going to SMU.

The distance runners will shift to the indoor schedule which begins Sat. Dec. 5th at the Arkansas State University Kick-Off Classic.
