BLOOMINGTON, IND.-The Memphis Men's and Women's Track teams are in Bloomington, Ind. competing in the Hoosier Invitational at the Harry C. Gladstein Fieldhouse this Friday and Saturday.

The meet will consist of more than 25 men's and women's teams.

The Tiger and Lady Tiger athletes look to build on their early season success, while others look to improve times and marks in anticiaption of the C-USA Championships at the end of the month.

Distance runner Adam Didyk currently ranks No.1 in C-USA in the 3000m run. The transfer from South Australia University hopes to solidify his position this weekend. Lisa-Marie Hyman, the defending C-USA Champion in the Triple Jump also currently ranks on top of the conference. Wendy Ragle, coming off her school record setting Mile Run at the ASU Invitational, looks to shine again for Memphis.

The meet will be an opportunity for many youngsters to enhance their performances as well. Istvan Kerenjarto, a freshmen from Biatorbagy, Hungary will compete in the 800m for the first time. True freshmen Willie Green from Augusta, Ga. looks to imprive his time in the 60m dash. With a good showing, Green could push his way into the top five in C-USA.

The meet begins at 4:00 p.m. Friday and runs until 9:30 p.m. Friday night. It will resume at 12:00 noon Saturday and finish at 3:00 p.m.
