FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.-The University of Memphis Men's and Women's Track Teams will compete in the Tyson Foods Invitational which takes place on Feb. 13-14. Arkansas will serve as the host for one of the biggest meets on the indoor track and field scene. Friday's events will feature top collegiate athletes from around the country, while Saturday's events will have the world's best professional athletes competing along with several collegiate runners.

The Tigers look to gain experience against the best competition available in the indoor season. Several Tigers and Lady Tigers are looking to earn NCAA Qualifying marks at this weekends meet. Adam Martin looks to join teammates Gaute Myklebust and Stein Syverson in the shot put and perhaps earn a qualifying mark in the weight throw. Senior sprinter Ivan Williams eyes the 200m dash, while distance runners Mate Nemeth, Istvan Kerekjarto and Michael Mentz all look for good showings.

On the Women's side, the triple jump battle between Senior Three Time C-USA Champion Lisa-Marie Hyman and budding freshman star, Cassandra Harding continues as the two look to contend for the triple jump title. Senior distance runner Ali Baker enters the meet as one of the top 800m runners and Junior sprinter Chanel Dunn hopes to challenge in the 100m.

Friday's meet will run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The finals for most events will start at 6:50 p.m. Saturday's meet will run from 1-3 p.m.
