MEMPHIS-The University of Memphis will host the Big Cat Classic Track Meet this Saturday March 29 at the Billy J. Murhpy Track Complex on the U of M South Campus.

The Tigers have one of their best sqauds in recent years and are looking to continue moving forward with a stellar performance Saturday on their home track.

This year 20 teams will be competing at the meet including: Memphis, Rhodes College, SE Missouri St., Southern Arkansas, UALR, Knoxville College, Lipscomb, Bethel, Hendrix, Arkansas, Illinois College, Rust, UT-Martin, Tennessee State, Mississippi College, Harding, Wisconsin-Lutheran, Wittenburg, Austin Peay and Vanderbilt.

The meet will begin Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. with the field events with the Long Jump leading off. Running events will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Women's 3000m Steeplechase and the meet will conclude at 4:00 p.m. with the Men's 1600m Relay.
