Memphis, Tenn.-- - Memphis junior Larry Crawford (Memphis, TN/Craigmont) was named the C-USA male co-athlete of the week with Houston's Jeff Mueller after Crawford won the men's 100 and 200-meter dashes at the Big Cat Classic last weekend. Crawford, who also won the 55-meter dash at the C-USA Indoor Championships, has posted the fastest times in the league in both events this season.

Crawford won the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.03 seconds and fell just short of provisionally qualifying for the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a winning time of 10.36 seconds in the 100. The provisional qualifying mark in the 100 in 10.34 seconds.

Crawford also anchored the 4x100-meter relay team in a win in a meet-record 40.56 seconds.

The Memphis track teams travel to Southeast Missouri State to compete in the All-Sport Relays this weekend.
