MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Tiger track and field squads will be traveling to Fayetteville, Ark. this weekend to compete at the John McDonnell Invite. The meet will run from Friday, April 18 to Saturday, April 19.

Entering the meet, Memphis has many athletes ranked in the top five of their event. Distance runner Tina Sherratt will be seeded number two in the 1500 meters entering Saturday's race.

Charlotte Abrahamsen and Chen Edri are among the top entries in the high jump.

Susan King leads the shot putters sitting at the top of the list, while she also in the top five in the hammer and discus throw. Teammate Sivan Aballi sits in the fourth position in the discus.

Throwers Glen Edwards, Knut Syversen and Seth Major all look to finish in the top five in the shot put, after having posted some positive marks in the past few meets.

Steffen Nerdal leads the field in both the hammer and the discus entering both events this weekend. He has already posted NCAA regional qualifying marks in both events.
