Durham, N.C.-- - Sophomore Delvit Rogers (Memphis, TN) wrapped up his first trip to the NCAA Track and Field Championships with a 19th place finish in the triple jump, Friday.

Rogers, who was an automatic qualifier in two events in his first trip to the NCAAs, posted a best distance of 15.19 meters (49-10).

The sophomore jumper finishes his NCAA season with two school records, having rewritten the Tigers' long jump and triple jump marks, both dating back to the 1970s.

The Raleigh Egypt graduate is also qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials, which are being held in Sacramento in July.
