@MemTigersTF_XC Releases 2014 Cross Country Schedule

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -The University of Memphis cross country program released its 2014 schedule, on Thursday. The new slate once again includes two meets to be run locally.
The season opens with the Memphis Twilight Classic at Mike Rose Soccer Complex on August 30. This marks the third-straight campaign the Tigers will open the season at the annual event. The squads then hit the road for the Commodore Classic (9/13/14) hosted by Vanderbilt University.
Memphis returns home to run in the Rhodes College Invitational set for September 27 at Shelby Farms. The Tigers have dominated the Rhodes Invite in recent years with the men’s team riding a current three-meet winning streak at the event (2011, 2012, 2013) and the women’s team winning two of the last three (2011,2012).
Memphis will then hit the trails at the Pre-NCAA Championship (10/18/14) hosted by Indiana State University. The regular season comes to a close on October 30 at the American Athletic Conference Championship hosted by new conference member and old rival Tulsa.
The NCAA postseason begins on November 14 with the NCAA South Regional Championship hosted once again by Florida State University. If they are able to advance through the regional round, the Tigers would return to Indiana State University for the NCAA Championship on November 22.
