MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Members of the University of Memphis Track and Field program will be volunteering at the 20th Annual St. Ann Special Athletes Fun Day tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 8 at Christian Brothers High School.

Registration for the event begins at 8 a.m. with the opening ceremonies scheduled for 9 a.m. More than 125 participants are signed up to compete in events ranging from softball and Frisbee throws to a soccer kick. There will also be events for wheelchair participants.

U of M student-athletes and coaches will be serving as officials for the track and field events, including the 25-meter dash, helping as “huggers, cheerleaders, and angels.”
