2006-07 (Freshman): Played in 30 of 31 games at Memphis, starting in 18...Averaged 3.2 points and 3.1 rebounds per game...Emerged as one of the Lady Tigers' better defensive players among the guard corps...Added six steals and one blocked shots while averaging 18.1 minutes per game...Had a career-high 12 points against No. 24 Arkansas...That game against Arkansas also marked her first career double-double, where she added 10 rebounds, including eight offensive boards...Also had 10 rebounds, her second double-digit rebounding night, against Southern Miss after she missed the previous game at UTEP due to a family funeral...Was a 71.0 percent shooter from the free-throw line and a 31.3 percent shooter from beyond the arc...Hit 31.8 percent from the field on the year...Made her first career start against Central Arkansas in the Lady Tiger Thanksgiving Classic, which was Memphis' first win on the season.
Prep: A two-time Oxford Eagle Player of the Year, Adams averaged 19.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game for the Lady Chargers of Oxford High School, helping her team to a 25-7 record and an appearance in the Class 4A North Half playoffs...As a junior, Adams played for the North team in the Mississippi North/South All-Star Game after helping her squad to a 24-8 record by averaging 18.8 points and 13.4 rebounds. A Clarion Ledger Girls All-State Honorable Mention honoree in 2006, Adams was named to the Region 2-4A All-Tournament Team and was named First Team All-Region 2-4A.
