Career: Caps her three-year Tiger career with 877 points (9.6/game) and 713 rebounds (7.8/game)...Started 85 of her 91 career games for Memphis...Finishes her career ranked eighth all-time in Memphis rebounding with 713 rebounds...For her entire four-year NCAA Division I career, she finishes with 1,021 points and 798 rebounds, including her freshman campaign at Birmingham Southern, where she was named to the Big South All-Freshman team.

2005-06 (Freshman, Birmingham Southern College): Transferred to Memphis from Birmingham Southern College after BSC announced it was moving to NCAA Division III athletics in 2007-08...Was named to the Big South All-Freshman team after averaging 7.2 points and 4.2 rebounds a game after missing the first seven games of the year due to a knee injury...Named the Big South Freshman of the week two times in 2005-06...Had four double-digit scoring games and led the team in scoring three times and rebounding twice...Shot .400 or better in 11 of the 20 games she played in and .500 or better in 10 of those games.

Prep:A prep product of Pinson Valley, Thornton was a three-time All-State, All-Metro and All-County honoree...Named to the regional all-tournament team twice and earned All-Area MVP honors three times and earned a roster spot for the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star roster as a senior...A Birmingham News Super 12 honoree...Still ranks 19th in Alabama High School Athletic Association history with 1,197 career rebounds at Pinson Valley (2001-2005)...Also ranks second with 299 free throws attempted her senior season and fifth with 681 career free throws attempted...Ranks sixth with 204 free-throws made in a season (2004-05) and sixth with 536 made for her career.
