In all, the Tigers will have nine players eligible to play this year that will be suiting up for the first time in Head Coach Melissa McFerrin's system.
The Tigers are in individual workouts now for two hours a week per NCAA rules and will officially begin full team practices on October 17th. Memphis' season will open on Nov. 13th against Big 10 foe Indiana, a WNIT team last season. That game will be a doubleheader with the Tiger men's team and will be played at FedExForum.
