Rogers Slated For Surgery

MEMPHIS, TENN. - University of Memphis sophomore guard Tamika Rogers will undergo surgery Tuesday, Sept. 19, to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee. Rogers tore her ACL on Sept. 5 during preseason drills with the Lady Tigers.
A native of Jackson, Miss., Rogers will miss the 2000-01 basketball season while in rehabilitation. She averaged 3.0 points in her 29 games played last year as a freshman.
