Women's Basketball Season Tickets Now on Sale

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - - Season tickets for the upcoming 2012-13 University of Memphis women's basketball season are now on sale on the University of Memphis Athletics Department website at www.GoTigersGo.com. Chairback season tickets for all of the regular season home games are available for $100, while general admission tickets and senior citizen reserved seats are available for just $60. University of Memphis Faculty/Staff can purchase a season ticket for just $50.

Another option for Tigers' families is the Family Pass. A Family Pass consists of two adult and two children's tickets and costs just $125 for the whole family for the entire regular season. A Family Pass can be purchased only by phone or in person at the University of Memphis Ticket Office (570 Normal, Memphis, 38152).

The Tigers' home slate for 2012-13 includes the opening round of the Pre-Season WNIT, which could feature up to three Tigers home games depending on the outcome of the first round game versus Grambling State on Nov. 9th. The home schedule also includes games against 2012 NCAA teams Prairie View A&M and UALR, SEC foe Missouri and Big 10 opponent Illinois. WBI quarterfinalist Wright State rounds out Memphis' non-conference slate at home on Jan. 5th.

In Conference USA play, Memphis will host East Division games against Southern Miss, East Carolina, UCF, UAB and Marshall, and will host three cross-over games from the West, welcoming defending league champion UTEP on Feb. 24th, along with Rice and SMU.

The women's basketball team will participate in Memphis Madness festivities on Friday at FedExForum. When the doors open at 5:30 p.m., fans can watch the women's basketball team practice. The team will be introduced to the fans at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free to Memphis Madness.
