MEMPHIS, Tenn. - - Women's basketball head coach Melissa McFerrin will take a break from the practice courts and will be a guest on WHBQ's Sports 56 Middays show with Eli Savoie and Greg Gaston, Wednesday. McFerrin will call in to the show at 11:45 a.m. to discus the upcoming season for the Tigers. Fans in Memphis can hear the show on AM 560, while fans out of the listening area can listen to the live internet stream at www.sports56whbq.com and by clicking on the Listen Live button in the right hand column.

The women's basketball team participated in two-a-day practices over fall break and are prepping for their one exhibition game, Nov. 8th at 2 p.m. at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse. The Tigers open the regular season against Big 10 foe Indiana, Nov. 13th at 5 p.m. at FedExForum. Indiana was a 20-win team last season and advanced to the WNIT Quarterfinals.
