MEMPHIS, Tenn. - - After bopping until the wee hours in last year's Inaugural Heels and Hoops event, the University of Memphis women's basketball Fast Break Club will again strap on their dancing shoes for the annual Heels and Hoops fundraiser, Saturday, October 29th starting at 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Ballroom on the University of Memphis campus. The event will be highlighted by the Memphis Soul Revue. Tickets are $75 when purchased in advance, $100 at the door, and includes admission for one adult and a drink ticket.

Current members of the Fast Break Club can purchase their tickets for $50 in advance. All tickets may be purchased online here or at www.CoachMcFerrin.com from under the Camps/Events tab. Membership in the Fast Break Club begins at just $100 and includes the pre-game chalk talks before each game at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse, as well as interactions with the Tiger coaches and players at various events throughout the season, including a tip-off dinner, a holiday event and an end of year banquet. All proceeds from the event are put towards the women's basketball team's international trips. The team traveled to Italy this past August courtesy of the previous Fast Break Club golf tournaments and last year's inaugural Heels and Hoops event. The team will next be eligible to take an international trip in the summer of 2015.
