MEMPHIS - - The University of Memphis women's basketball team (1-1) will travel to Illinois State (1-1) in the Preseason WNIT Third Round consolation game, Sunday, at 5 p.m. (CT). That game will be the back end of a double-header with the Illinois State men's basketball team (who will host Delaware State) and will be played in Redbirds Arena in Normal, Ill.

Memphis is looking to bounce back from an 82-68 loss at Middle Tennessee, Sunday, while Illinois State is looking to use home court advantage to bounce back from a loss at Iowa.

This will be the eighth meeting between the two teams. Memphis leads the overall series, 6-1, but the last game went the Redbirds' way, 72-58. But the two teams have not met since that 1979-80 meeting.

The game will air on 91.7 FM in Memphis with Jeff Brightwell on the call.
