The University of Memphis women's golf team is tied for fifth at the end of the first day of the Conference USA Championships. Memphis fired around of 304 (+16) and is currently tied for fifth overall with Tulsa, just two strokes behind No. 33 SMU. No. 20 Tulane leads the field after an opening day 291 (+3).

Women's Golf Kicks Off Conference USA Championships Monday

The University of Memphis women's golf team will kick off its 2013 Conference USA Championship Monday morning at The Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club in Gulf Shores, Ala. Memphis will play the three-round tournament from Monday through Wednesday.

Women's Golf Has Trio of Honorees Named to C-USA All-Academic Team

The University of Memphis women's golf team had three student-athletes named to the C-USA All-Academic Team, Friday. The senior trio of Alex Alӓng, Julia Hodgson and Sarah Mathews were named to the five-person team.
