The Lady Tigers welcome three newcomers to the program for the 2014-15 year.

Sally Andrews is in her second stint as an assistant with the Lady Tigers and returns to the program after serving 20-plus years in the athletics department administration/compliance office. Andrews first served as a Lady Tigers assistant coach from 1983-86, before taking over as head coach from 1986-91.During her head coaching tenure, Andrews guided the Lady Tigers to 31 top-10 finishes and 12 top-five showings, including four-straight Metro Conference Championships top-fives. From 1988-91, Andrews' squads finished no lower than third place (1988-90, third place; 1991, second place). She also led the Lady Tigers to the program's first tournament title when they won the UAB Lady Blazer Invitational in the fall of 1988. Two of Andrews' golfers -- Leslie Folsom in 1989 and Gia Kronske in 1990 and 1991 -- earned All-Metro Conference honors. As an assistant from 1983-86, Andrews helped the Lady Tigers to 14 top-10 finishes, including a fifth-place performance at the 1986 Metro Conference Championships. Andrews has won the Memphis City Women's Golf Championships title numerous times and has competed in major tournaments such as the Women's Transnational Golf Association, Women's Southern Golf Association and Women's Tennessee Golf Association. A teacher of the game, Andrews has also contributed time to the development of junior golfers by working at several golf camps throughout the Southeast. A 1982 Christian Brothers University of graduate, Andrews was a four-year letterwinner in both basketball and volleyball. She was named to the 1981 NAIA volleyball All-Tournament Team and also earned all-conference honors in basketball. Andrews played golf as a child and began focusing on her game during her college years.
