Former Arkansas State golfer and PGA Junior Tour assistant Adrian Sportsman joined the Memphis women's golf staff in June of 2011 to serve as the team's assistant coach. Sportsman comes to Memphis after completing a four-year letterwinning career with the Red Wolves. While at Arkansas State, Sportsman served as a two-year team captain and leader. She recorded her best three-round collegiate performance in 2009 as a senior, when she carded a 220 to tie for third at the Rebel Intercollegiate. The Corpus Christi, Texas, native graduated from Arkansas State in 2009 with her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Following graduation, Sportsman served as an assistant on the Southern Texas PGA Junior Tour, while assisting at junior camps in both Jonesboro and Corpus Christi. Sportsman completed her academic career in August of 2011, when she received her master's in Sports Management from ASU. |
