Lady Tigers Are 8th At Lady Eagle Invitational

Hattiesburg, MS - The Memphis Lady Tiger golf team is currently in eighth place at the Southern Mississippi Lady Eagle Invitational after two rounds of competition. The 54-hole event is being played at Shadow Ridge Golf Club in Hattiesburg. Lisbeth Meincke of Georgia State is the individual leader with scores of 71-74 during her first two rounds. Memphis freshman Kathryn O'Rourke leads the Lady Tiger golfers after posting scores of 76-77 during her first day of play. O'Rourke is currently tied for 9th at 153. The College of Charleston leads the competition with a 36-hole score of 604. Georgia State is in second place with a score of 614, ten shots behind Charleston. Campbell University is third with a 616, while Birmingham Southern is fourth with a 618 and Middle Tennessee State is fifth with a team score of 622. Lady Tiger senior Jennifer Jaszek turned in rounds of 80-78 and is tied for 24th with a total of 158.
