“The greens were really difficult out there today, but I’m proud of everyone grinding it out,” said Memphis head coach Beth Harrelson. “I love the position we’re in, and we just need to continue to grind and be patient.”
The Lady Tigers are seeking to claim their first Conference USA title since 2007. That season, Memphis went on to finish 21st in the NCAA West Regional.
The second round of the Conference USA Women’s Golf Championship will begin Monday, April 19 at 8 a.m. (CDT). Fans can follow the action live via www.golfstat.com.
