Lady Tigers Are Currently Third at Louisville Event

Louisville, KY - University of Memphis Lady Tiger golfers Marianne Ruud and Jennifer Jaszek, who helped lead the Lady Tigers to a tournament win in last week's Memphis Women's Intercollegiate, hold two of the top three spots in this week's Louisville Cardinal Cup.The 54-hole event is being held at the Cardinal Club in Louisville, Kentucky. Ruud, who led the Memphis tournament after 54-holes, carded scores of 72-76--148 and trails individual leader Jenny Gleason of UNC-Greensboro by three strokes. Jaszek, who eventually won the Memphis Women's Intercollegiate, is tied for third with rounds of 77-73--150. Host team Louisville leads the team competition with a total score of 612. UNC-Greensboro is second at 618 and Memphis is third at 619. Georgia State and Arkansas round out the top five. GSU posted a 625, while Arkansas stands at 627. Final round action is slated for Tuesday morning at 8 AM..
