NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The University of Memphis women's golf team concluded play at one of the toughest tournaments in the country, the Mason Rudolph Women's Championship, on Sunday by shooting a 335. The Lady Tigers shot 983 for the tournament and placed 15th.

Alex Aläng led the Lady Tigers in the final round with a 79. Aläng finished the championship with a total of 249, placing 76th. Sarah Mathews followed with an 81 on Sunday, and a total of 247. She was Memphis' highest finisher, placing 74th.

Julia Hodgson placed 75th with a three-day total of 248 after carding an 88 in the final round. Ashley Kees rounded out the Lady Tigers' squad as she shot 87 in the final round for a three-day total of 245. Kees placed 78th.

Arizona won the tournament with a three-day total of 889 while Virginia placed second with an 892. Georgia's Emilie Burger won the individual title with and even-par 216 after shooting 72-72-72.

Memphis will next take the course on October 12-14 at the Mercedis Benz Women's Collegiate. The University of Tennessee will be the host of the tournament that takes place in Knoxville.
