Lady Tigers Take Seventh at Kentucky Wildcat

For Immediate Release LEXINGTON, Ky. - The University of Memphis fell one spot to finish in seventh place after the third round at the Kentucky Wildcat Fall Invitational on Sunday at the University Club golf course. Junior Stacey Tate finished in a tie for seventh place individually after shooting a 4-over 76 in the final round to finish with a 221 total. The top 10 finish is the second-straight for the New Zealand native who now has six in her career. Also scoring a third-round 76 was junior Cameron Barber who finished tied for 23rd with a 77-75-76--228. Freshman Rachel Larson (75-78-79--232) tied for 35th, freshman Kayla Stewart (84-75-77--236) tied for 47th and junior Ashley Burross (85-73-822--240) tied for 57th place. Florida won the tournament with a 296-288-297--881 total, beating out second place North Carolina by 10 strokes. Florida's Mallory Blackwelder took medalist honors with a 68-71-73--212 score.
