Jaszek Moves to Tie for 38th at Wildcat Invitational

LEXINGTON, Kent. - Senior women's golfer Jennifer Jaszek shaved two strokes off her Friday total to move into a six-way tie for 38th place in the University of Kentucky Wildcat Invitational, Saturday. Jaszek shot a second round 81 to move into the tie at 164. As a team, the Lady Tigers improved their second round score by 22 strokes for the five competing golfers, shooting a second day total 329 after an opening day 351. Louisville's Meghan Little and Kentucky's Melissa Muir also made moves on Saturday, with Little firing a 73 to move into a tie for first with Muir, who fired an opening round 73, Friday, then a 76 on Saturday. College of Charleston's Brenda McLarnon made the biggest move of the day, firing a day two low round 69 after an opening day 85. Vanderbilt University also moved up, Saturday, moving into a tie for first with day one leader Mississippi State at 623. The tournament concludes Sunday at the University Club of Kentucky.
