MIAMI, Fla. -
Three University of Memphis women's golfers finished the first round in the top 16 as the Lady Tigers finished day one at the Pat Bradley Invitational in fourth place.
Sophomore Meghan Mahoney led the U of M with a four-over-par 76 to finish tied for fifth individually. She was followed by sophomore Stacey Tate who finished tied for 10th with a 78 and sophomore Kathryn O'Rourke who tied for 16th with a 79.
The Lady Tigers are eight strokes behind the leader, Princeton University, and two strokes behind second place University of Miami in the 16 school tournament.
Memphis will continue the second round of the three-round tournament hosted by Florida International on Saturday.
