JONESBORO, Ark.—The final round of the 2009 Lady Red Wolf Classic has been cancelled due to heavy rains that made Jonesboro Country Club unplayable. All scores revert back to second round totals.

The cancellation gave Arkansas State (308-304) the team victory, defeating Murray State (316-304) by eight strokes. Memphis (315-314) tied with Troy (316-313) and South Alabama (316-313) for third place overall.

The third place team finish is the lowest under second-year head coach Beth Harrelson.

The Lady Tigers return home before traveling to Charelson, S.C. to compete in the 2009 Wendy’s Invitational on October 19-20.
