The tournament is being played at the Coosaw Creek Country Club with Charleston Southern serving as the host school.

“I’m very proud of the way everyone played today,” said Lady Tiger head coach Beth Harrelson. “They are really learning to believe in themselves, and it’s starting to show on the course.”

Leslie Grabeman posted an opening round 81 and is currently in a tie for 35th. Julia Hodgson is in 58th after turning in an opening round of 86.

The Lady Tigers (309) are in third place overall, 11 shots behind first round leader, College of Charleston (298). Coastal Carolina (301) is in second.

“We are excited to get to play with the leaders tomorrow,” said Harrelson.
