@MemphisWGolf Concludes Fall Season at UAB Fall Beach Blast

GULF SHORES, Ala. - The University of Memphis women's golf team posted a 313 on Tuesday and finished in 10th place at the UAB Fall Beach Blast in Gulf Shores, Ala.
The Lady Tigers finished with a team score of 619 (306-313) to wrap up the fall season.
Gerlach posted a 78 in the final round (76-78 - 154), and matched the best 36-hole score of her Memphis career.
Kees, who finished in the top 35 in all five fall tournaments, also carded a 78 on Tuesday. The junior has now shot 10 consecutive rounds with a score in the 70s or lower.
Leighann Cabush finished tied for 40th place and finished her first fall season with five consecutive top-40 finishes.
Ashleigh Whisenant finished tied for 57th to round out the scoring for the Lady Tigers.
Tulsa won the team championship by four shots over Louisiana Monroe after firing a 293 on Tuesday.
Brandi Rodriguez of Southern Miss claimed the individual title after a two-hole playoff with Tala Mumford of Austin Peay.
The Lady Tigers return to the course in the spring of 2014. Memphis will play in five spring tournaments, including the inaugural American Athletic Conference Championship in Orlando, Fla. at the end of April.
The first scheduled event for the spring season is the USA Women's Invitational in Mobile, Ala. On Feb. 24-25, 2014.
