MEMPHIS -- The University of Memphis women's golf team will travel to Miami, Fla. Feb. 27- Mar. 01 to compete in the Sir Pizza Cards Challenge.

The University of Louisville is hosting the event at the par-72, 6,106-yard Weston Hills Golf Course. 14 teams will be competing in the tournament: Arkansas State, Cincinnati, ETSU, FIU, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, Memphis, Miami, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, USF, Texas State, and UNC Wilmington.

The Lady Tigers are looking to rebound after finishing 15th in their first event of the season at the UCF Challenge. Memphis posted team scores of 302-306-312 amidst windy conditions to finish 15th in a 17-team field that featured nine teams which qualified for the 2010 NCAA Regionals. Alex Aläng posted scores of 76-71-77 (224) to lead the Lady Tigers and finish 28th individually.

Tee times begin at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, while a shotgun format will be followed on Monday and Tuesday.
