PINEHURST, N.C.- The University of Memphis women's golf team remains in 19th place after two rounds of the Pinehurst Challenge. The event is hosted by the College of Charleston.

Rachel Larson is the top Lady Tiger on the leader board with a 36-hole total of 158. Her second round 75 moved the junior up to a tie for 35th place. Freshman Alexa Porter is tied for 54th with a score of 161, and senior Dawn-Marie Conaty is tied for 87th with a combined score of 166. Sophomore Leslie Grabeman rounds out the scoring for the squad, posting a 174. The Lady Tigers have a team score of 659 through two rounds.

East Tennessee State leads the tournament, maintaining a four stroke lead over second place East Carolina. Steffi Kirchmayr of College of Charleston and Laura Jansone of ETSU share the lead after the second round, each posting a 148.

Memphis will wrap up play in the Pinehurst Challenge on Tuesday.
