MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Following their first tournament win in two years, the University of Memphis women's golf team faces a tough field at the Insperity Lady Jaguar Intercollegiate, hosted by Augusta State University, starting Friday. The field consists of 18 teams, six of which are in Golfstat's top-50 and 14 in the top-100. The tournament will be played Friday-Sunday at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga., Mar. 15-17th.

On Tuesday, the Lady Tigers earned their first tournament win since the fall of 2011 when they posted their best score of the season, 306, in the rain shortened Lady Eagle Invitational. Memphis finished in a tie for first with host Southern Miss, and Alex Aläng took home the individual title after carding an even-par 72.

The Lady Tigers will have their work cut out for them at the Insperity Lady Jaguar Intercollegiate. Vanderbilt leads that group, and the Commodores are the only team in the top-10 at ninth. Purdue is the next closest team to Vanderbilt at 16th, while Texas (22nd) and Notre Dame (26) aren't far behind. Kentucky and UT San Antonio round out this group with rankings of 34th and 48th, respectively.

East Carolina (51st) and Coastal Carolina (57th) aren't far off that group while Maryland and East Tennessee State rank 60th and 62nd, respectively. Southern Miss (84th), Kennesaw State (86th), Augusta State (88th) and Lamar (90) are the final four teams in the top-100 while Georgia State (116th), Memphis (123rd), Illinois (127th) and Charleston Southern (143rd) round out the 18-team field.

The Insperity Lady Jaguar Intercollegiate will consist of three rounds, played Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Forest Hills Golf Club. The par-72 course will play 6,214 yards for the tournament. On Friday and Saturday, the teams will tee off the 1st and 10th tees starting at 9:00 a.m. (ET), and on Sunday there will be a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. (ET). An awards ceremony will be held after the conclusion of play at 2:30 p.m. (ET)
