HONOLULU - The University of Memphis women's golf team is tied for 12th after day one of the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational hosted by the University of Hawaii. The Lady Tigers shot a 316 as team in the opening round.

Junior Rachel Larson is currently tied for 12th after firing a 75. Senior Dawn-Marie Conaty and freshman Alexa Porter each shot an 80 and are currently tied for 55th. Sophomore Leslie Grabeman recorded an 81 and is tied for 61st.

The University of Arizona leads the field after shooting 2-under-par in the first round. The Lady Wildcats were lead by Alison Walshe who leads the field after carding a six-under-par 66.

The Lady Tigers will continue play in the Dr. Donnis Invitational with round two on Tuesday.
