BATON ROUGE- Led by Abby More's second round 70 (2-under), The
University of Memphis Women's Golf team climbed into 4th place at the
LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic at the University Club Golf Course near
the LSU campus.
The Lady Tigers shot a 295 (7-over) in round two and are only 11
strokes behind tournament leader UNC-Wilmington who shot a 597
(21-over) in the first two rounds. Memphis has shot a 608 (32-over)
after two rounds.
Abby More's second round 70 (2-under) puts her in eighth place
amongst individuals. Leah Hart of Augusta State is at even par to
lead the tourney.
Today's round was delayed several hours by rain in Baton Rouge,
tomorrow's final round is expected to be played as scheduled.
