EL PASO, Texas - The University of Memphis women's golf team is tied for sixth place after two rounds of the Conference USA Championships being held at the Butterfield Trail Golf Club in El Paso, Texas. The Lady Tigers shot a 318 collectively in the second round.

Rachel Larson paced the Lady Tigers as she carded a one-under-par 71 on Tuesday. The junior has posted a five-over 149 through the first two rounds and is tied for fourth place, just two strokes off the lead. Larson's 71 tied Woeri Shin for the best score on the day.

Freshman Alexa Porter has shot a seven-over 153 and is tied for sixth. Senior Dawn-Marie Conaty is in 33rd place and sophomore Leslie Grabeman is in 37th after recording scores of 162 and 165 respectively, through two rounds. The Lady Tigers are playing with just four players after senior Meghan Mahoney did not making the trip due to a violation of team rules.

The Lady Tigers are tied with UAB in sixth place. Each team has totaled a score of 627. Tulsa, who possesses a seven shot lead over East Carolina, will carry the lead into the final round. The Golden Hurricane have a team score of 601. Shin is tied with Abby Bools of East Carolina in the individual race. Both are currently three-over-par.

The Lady Tigers will wrap-up play at the Conference USA Championships with round three on Wednesday. Live Stats are available on www.golfstat.com.
