EL PASO, Texas - University of Memphis women's golfer Alexa Porter was named Conference USA All-Tournament team after finishing tied for second in the Conference USA Championships in El Paso.

The freshman shot a 54-hole total of 226 in her C-USA Tournament debut. Porter's best performance of the tournament came in the opening round when she shot a one-over-par 73. She followed that with a 78 on Tuesday, and bounced back with a 75 on Wednesday.

The Elyria, Ohio native finished six strokes behind Woeri Shin of Tulsa, who won the individual competition. Leisl Hasbrouck of Tulsa tied Porter for second place.

Joining Porter on the all-tournament team were Shin, Hasbrouck, Michaela Cavener of Tulsa and Abby Bools of East Carolina.
