MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Former Lady Tiger golf standout Marissa Steen is tied for the lead heading into the final round of the Symetra Tour's Ladies Titan Tire Challenge. Steen carded rounds of 70-69 in the first two rounds and is tied with Paz Echeverria for the lead.

The Symetra Tour is known as "the Road to the LPGA" and since 1999, it has been designated as the LPGA's official developmental tour. The LPGA acquired the Symetra Tour in July 2007.

Steen graduated Memphis as one of the most decorated Lady Tigers in history. In addition to being named first team all-conference in 2011 and 2012, she was also a member of the second team in 2010. She was a five-time C-USA Golfer of the week, three-time member of the C-USA All-Academic team and three-time NGCA All-America scholar.

Fans can follow Steen's progress in today's final round at http://www.symetrascoring.com/. She finished in a tie for 34th last weekend in the My Marsh Golf Classic in her professional debut.
