MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Lady Tigers head coach Beth Harrelson announced on Tuesday that Shelby Sain is joining the women's golf program. Sain played her last three seasons at Ole Miss, transfers to Memphis and will be eligible for the 2012-13 season.

Sain redshirted her freshman season at Ole Miss in 2009-10 and has two years of eligibility remaining at Memphis. The Bolivar, Tenn. native played in a total of two tournaments for the Rebels.

She had a decorated prep career at Bolivar Central High School. Sain qualified for the state tournament all four years, along with being a two-time district and two-time regional champion. She won the district championship her sophomore and senior seasons, while winning the regional championship her junior and senior years. Sain was also named all-region as a senior.
