@MemphisWGolf Heads to Kentucky for 2013 Cardinal Cup

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. – The University of Memphis women’s golf team continues their fall season at the 2013 Cardinal Cup on Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 16 and 17). The University of Louisville will host the tournament, which will take place at the Cardinal Club in Simpsonville, Ky.
The Tigers are part of a 13-team field in the 54-hole event. The teams will play 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday. Opening rounds will start on each day at 7:40 a.m. CT with shotgun starts for all rounds.
Memphis is coming off of a fifth-place finish at the Memphis FedEx Women’s Intercollegiate last week. Competing for the Tigers this week will be:
Cabush and Sain both placed in the top-12 last week. Cabush finished tied for sixth in her first career tournament, while Sain finished tied for 11th.
The following teams are competing in this week’s event: Ball State, Cincinnati, Houston, Kansas, Illinois State, Louisville, Marshall, Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, Murray State, Northern Kentucky, South Florida and Tennessee-Chattanooga.
