MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Lady Tiger golf team will head to Lexington, Ky., this weekend to defend its title at the Wildcat Fall Invitational. The team will begin play Saturday, September 29 and conclude competition through the following Monday. Rachel Larson will look to match her fifth place finish from last fall.

"This weekend's field will be one of the strongest we'll see all year," said Coach Jenny Bruun. "This golf course has always set up really well for us, and everyone has played this course except for Alexa, which is always a positive."

Sophomore transfer Taylor Bunnell showed promise during the team's first tournament in Louisville last week. Her score of 228 earned a 27th place finish to lead the Lady Tigers.

"If we go into this weekend with the right mentality and we're confident, we will be successful," Bruun said.
