MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis women's golf team travels to West Point, Miss. to compete in the Old Waverly Bulldog Invitational from Sept. 30-Oct. 2 at the Old Waverly Golf Club.

Memphis will bring five golfers to the event: Leighann Cabush, Andrea Cropper, Ashleigh Whisenant, Ashley Kees and Shelby Sain.

The three-day event starts with split tee times on Monday, beginning at 9:30 a.m. CT. All five Memphis participants will start on the back nine for round one. Shelby Sain will be the first Lady Tiger to tee off at 10:25 a.m. Ashley Kees follows Sain at 10:36 a.m. and Ashleigh Whisenant starts her round at 10:47 a.m.

Andrea Cropper and Leighann Cabush will be the final two Lady Tigers to tee off on Monday, with Cropper starting at 10:58 a.m. and Cabush starting at 11:09 a.m.

Memphis is grouped with Georgia State and South Alabama for round one.

Tuesday's round two will also be played with split tee times, starting at 8:30 a.m on Tuesday morning. Wednesday's final round will be a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

Memphis competed in this event last season and finished 10th. Julia Hodgson led the Lady Tigers by shooting a 228 to finish in 27th place.

The Old Waverly Bulldog Invitational is hosted by Mississippi State. The 2013 event consists of the following 12 teams: Memphis, Mississippi State, Kennesaw State, Murray State, Cincinnati, Florida International, Georgia State, ETSU, South Alabama, South Florida, Southern Miss and East Carolina.
