Chapel Hill, NC - The University of Memphis Lady Tiger golf team remains in fifth place after two rounds of the Lady Tar Heel Invitational played at Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill. Duke University has a commanding lead in the event with a team score of 585, while Tennessee is second at 602, Georgia is third at 610, Wake Forest is fourth at 614 and Memphis is fifth at 605.

Jennifer Perri of Furman and Kalen Anderson of Duke are tied for the individual lead with even par scores of 144. Memphis freshman Meaghan Francella is tied for seventh with a two round score of 148. Her teammate Marianne Ruud is two strokes back, tied for tenth. They are the only two Memphis players currently in the top twenty.

Junior Sandra Hellsvik and freshman Jennifer Jaszek are tied for 48th place at scores of 160 and sophomore Abby More is tied for 59th at 161.

The final round for this year's Lady Tar Heel is slated for Sunday.
