The University of Memphis women’s golf team travels to Gulf Shores, AL this week to compete in the UAB Beach Blast. After finishing in the top-10 in the last three events, sophomore Marissa Steen looks to continue her momentum this week and lead the Lady Tigers.

After posting consecutive third place team finishes, the lowest under second year head coach Beth Harrelson, the Lady Tigers look to build on their strong play over the past two weeks.

“Everyone is playing very well right now,” said Harrelson. “I think that everyone is finally coming together as a team, and I think we’re ready to take that next step.”
