MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis women's golf coach Beth Harrelson announced on Friday that Waukesha, Wis., native, Leighann Cabush has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Lady Tigers next season.

Cabush earned four letters at Kettle Moraine High School and was a three-time first team All-Classic 8 Conference honoree. She was also earned All-State recognition three times, including first team distinction her junior and senior seasons. At the state championship, she placed in the top-10 three times, eighth as a sophomore, second as a junior and third during her senior season. In both her junior and senior seasons, she finished first at the regional tournament on her way to top-five finishes at state.  During her high school career, she was also named Classic 8 Conference's Most Valuable Player and first team All-Area three times. Cabush carries a 3.95 grade-point-average and was named to the All-State Academic team all four years. She is also a member of National Honor Society.

She also been very successful playing in futures tournaments, winning the Future Collegians World Tour Tournaments at Arizona State University and Whistling Straights Golf Course in Wisconsin. She also finished first at the Mid-American Junior Golf Tour Autumn Challenge in Chicago and posted two top-10 finishes at American Junior Golf Association tournaments. In six events on the Future Collegians Tour, Cabush posted five top-five finishes, and was named first team Future Collegians World Tour All-American in 2011-12. In 2011, she garnered Mid-American Junior Golf Tour All-Midwest team honors.
