Oduro, Davis, Gomez-Junco Represent National Teams in 2012 FIFA U20 Women's World Cup

TOKYO, Japan - Memphis women's soccer players Christabel Oduro, Kylie Davis and Natalia Gomez-Junco are representing their respective countries in the 2012 FIFA U20 Women's World Cup over the next two weeks in Japan. Oduro and Davis play for the Canada U20 team while Gomez-Junco represents Mexico. Canada opened the group stage of the U20 World Cup with a 6-0 win over Argentina on Monday. Mexico lost their first match on Sunday, a 4-1 setback to host Japan. Canada plays Norway on Thursday at 5 a.m. CT before closing the group play schedule with a match against North Korea at 5 a.m. on August 27. Mexico plays Switzerland on Tuesday at 2:20 a.m. before closing out group play with matchup against New Zealand on Sunday at 5:20 a.m.
