Tigers Add St. Louis Product Danielle Tolmais to 2013 Signing Class
Feb. 8, 2013
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - University of Memphis women's soccer head coach Brooks Monaghan announced Friday that Lafayette High School standout Danielle Tolmais has signed her National Letter of Intent to join the 2013-14 signing class. "Danielle is another great addition to our program," Monaghan said. "She is an extremely technical player. She is very versatile and we feel that she will best suit our team as a center-mid or center-forward. She is somebody who really has a passion for soccer, evident by the juggling videos she makes. Danielle is another addition that we fill could come in and make an immediate impact on our program." A three-year letterwinner at Lafayette High School, Tolmais helped the squad to a conference championship in 2010. The team also claimed district and conference championships in 2011 and Tolmais has been named to the All-Conference team twice. On the club level, Tolmais has played in the ECNL for St. Louis Scott Gallagher and led the team in scoring the last two years. She has been named to the ODP Missouri State Team and Region 2 pool. Tolmais was featured on ESPN.com last year after setting a juggling record of 10,380. She enjoys art, playing piano, and training youth at soccer clinics. She is a three-year scholar-athlete and a four-year renaissance silver recipient. Why did Danielle Tolmais choose the University of Memphis? What does Dainelle Tolmais plan to major in?
