Jennifer Boudreau Signs with Women's Soccer for 2013-14 Season
Feb. 11, 2013
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis women’s soccer head coach Brooks Monaghan announced Monday that Longview High School product Jennifer Boudreau has signed her National Letter of Intent to join the team for the 2013-14 season. “We are extremely excited to have Jennifer joining our program,” Monaghan said. “We not only feel that she will add depth to our back line, but we feel she has the potential to come in and make an immediate impact. I feel that Jennifer is best suited for us as an outside back. She is a hard-nosed player and I really feel like she fits the mold of what we look for in a defender. She has very good speed and she will put a tackle in. She will bring a lot of grit to our back line and she also does a good job of getting forward into the attack which is crucial in the style we play.” Boudreau earned four varsity letters at Longview High School where she was named All-District in 2010 and 2011. She helped the team to District Championships in 2010 and 2012 and the 2010 squad was a regional finalist. On the club level, Boudreau played for Solar Chelsea of the ECNL in Dallas, two-and-a-half hours away from Longview. She is member of the North Texas ODP state team where she attended ODP regional camp the last three years. Boudreau enjoys running, playing indoor soccer and spending time at the beach or lake. She is a member of the National Honor Society and the Z-Club and has appeared on the honor roll. Why did Jennifer Boudreau choose the University of Memphis? What does Jennifer Boudreau plan to major in?
