MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Christabel Oduro was named to Canada's Women's National Team 25-player pre-tournament camp at the 2013 Cyrpus Women's Cup, Canada Soccer announced this week.

"This is another fantastic opportunity for Christabel and it comes as no surprise to us," head coach Brooks Monaghan said. "I don't want to jump to any conclusions, but it looks like she is becoming a regular on the full team. We've always thought she had that ability her first invite came last spring. She's played in three games so far and in due time she will be just what we thought, a regular on the full team."

Oduro is attending her third camp with the full national team. She received her first Canada National Team call last spring. In January, Oduro played in three games during the Youngchuan Cup in China. Oduro continues to get valuable time ahead of Canada hosting the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2015.

Canada kicks off play in the 2013 Cyprus Cup on March 6 against Switzerland at GSZ Stadium in Larnaka. The Canadians take on Finland on March 8 before closing out group lay on March 11 against the Netherlands.
